Today I’m exploring the line of enquiry that opened up for me yesterday : wormholes . Watch me as I use a part of my vacuum cleaner to explain how this hypothetical feature of space- time might work and as I begin to see a learning pattern emerge!
Alright. Hands up. It’s true : I’ve moved from “not interested in space at at all” to “totally fascinated by the entire cosmos and beyond” within 24 hours (and I’m certainly starting to see how my learning strategy really works for me!) Yesterday’s adventure opened up 3 interesting lines of enquiry for me :
What is a black hole?
What is the event horizon?
What is the singularity?
Watch as I explore the anatomy of a black hole and open up another new line of enquiry 🙂 !
Today’s adventure sees me starting a new adventure series. The aim of this series is to discover more about the way I learn. I selected a magazine that seemed to hold very little appeal and wondered if I could get curious about any of its contents. Would a natural curiosity emerge? Would a line of enquiry reveal itself like a trail of breadcrumbs for me to follow?
Watch what happens when I open the pages of “All About Space” 🙂 .
It’s the last day of February which means that, in addition to today’s adventure, it’s time for a review of the month and my next guest adventurer!
For today’s adventure I try my hand at learning Mandarin. I watched this brilliant video and then gave myself 30 seconds to learn my chosen phrases. Can you guess what I’m saying? (I’ve put a translation below the video to help you out 🙂 )
Translation : Hello! How are you? I’m fine. Bye!
Here’s me reviewing this month of adventuring :
And here’s my fabulous guest adventurer for February, Kate Trafford. Watch what happened when she took herself along to a dance workshop …..
Today’s adventure involves me learning some basic Russian phrases! Can you work out what I’m saying? (I’ve provided a translation under the video just in case it’s not obvious 🙂 )
How’s things? My name is Jane. I’m having fun 🙂 . Bye!
I’ve been away with work over the last couple of days, so here is a consolidated post which includes the adventures from the 24th – 26th February 2014.
In Adventure 55 ~ Dream Diary Day 6 , I learn that sometimes you have to go to sleep in order to learn how to wake up and be fully present!
In Adventure 56 ~ Dream Diary Day 7 , I get to see how I process day-time events :
In Adventure 57 ~ The Most Expensive Perfume , I pluck up the courage to ask the assistant in Duty Free (I normally avoid the assistants like the plague and really don’t enjoy being “sold to”) whether I can try the most expensive perfume in the shop. Here’s what happened (and, for the record, it was a little too musky for me and I didn’t think it was worth the price!)
Today you can see how seriously my dream-makers take my work! I’ll be off the radar until Thursday and I’ll update you with all my adventures then 🙂 . Looks like I’m headed for a period of growth and transformation!
It seems that when your dream-makers know that you’re listening, they really get weaving! Watch what happens as the communication channel between me and my “dream team” opens right up 🙂 .
I am just going outside (or inside, in this case 😛 ) and may be some time.
Today I hit the “I- can’t- remember- any- of- my- dreams” wall and discover a very interesting solution! (Oh – and the trainers I mention in the “key elements of the dream” section are grey : that’s important to know!)
If you want to know more about the process I am using to interpret my dreams, you can find everything you need here .
